WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?

big bang theory.

Bloody awful weekend…

Wasn’t that bad…

Apart from the fact that I was pretty much living at work for the most of it, and so I didn’t manage to get any uni work done whatsoever. Went to bed on Sunday night thinking “It’s not that bad, It can’t be helped, I’m not behind on my work, I’ll be alright, next week’ll be a good ‘un”…Till I woke up to find our dog had been sick all over my bed, while I was sleeping in it, right. next. to. my face

So I didn’t manage to get into the studio till 10 O’clock becase I was ‘otherwise engaged’ cleaning the chunky orange coloured fluid off my bed sheets :(

However, I did manage to get 8 Richard Diebenkorn-y paintings done when I finally got into the studio :)

It’s February…

and having flowers in my studio makes me happy.

essay. hail stone. stress. lack of mince pies. work. looking forward to decoarting house. sore throat. soup. missing mum. one week left. money. lack of it. over sleeping. missing breakfast. excited about christmas.

I have a date with a mince pie tomorrow…

We are now officially 39 minutes into the christmas season. This means the beginning of present buying, present wrapping, mince pie eating, christmas card buying, christmas card writing, christmas card giving, christmas decorating, christmas drinking, cosy night christmas filming, snow ball fighting, christmas partying!

Hello christmas :)

The plan was…

To do Christmassy things and generally start celebrating Christmas at the beginning of December.

This usually works out pretty well considering the Coca Cola Advert starts to come on T.V about this time, Cafe Nero starts selling the loveliest mince pies and cream and the overall feel of christmas is more fitting at this time of the month aswell.

So last week when i was watching T.V, and the Coca Cola advert came on, I couldn’t help but stop breathing for a second and think ‘Oh good god’, it’s here already. But I ignored it and came to the descision that it was a one off.

It was only when I nipped into Cafe Nero this afternoon and seen the mince pies, and it was only when I came home from cafe nero and saw that Home Alone was coming on T.V.

WHY HAVE PEOPLE DECIDED THAT NOW IS THE TIME TO BE CHRISTMASSY!?

By the time December does come round, we’ll all be celebrating bloody New Year’s, having forgotten all about Christmas! :(

Either way, I’ve found myself getting sucked into all the Christmas songs, Christmas Films, Christmas pies etc, and so now, on the 19th of November, I am watching Home Alone, whilst downloading ‘Now That’s What I Call Christmas’ and debating with myself whether or not I should have bought a second pack of Christmas cards with the little Christmas Pudding on the front
